Danbury is a large village near Chelmsford with a population of around 6000. Situated on a hill at 365 feet above sea level, it occupies one of the highest points in Essex. Our village is surrounded by attractive open countryside and woodland, much of it owned and protected by the National Trust and Essex Wildlife Trust.

LOCAL ROUTE DIRECTIONS

From M25 turn off at junction 28 onto A12 towards Chelmsford.
On A12 turn off onto A414 towards Maldon at junction 18 (not the A414 to Chelmsford)
At roundabout at top of slip road turn right towards Danbury / Maldon on A414
Follow road for about 2 miles then look for Danbury village centre with mini-roundabout, village pond etc.
After a further 200 yards look for speed camera on the right. The entrance to Danbury Mission is immediately past that on the right – a modern building set back slightly from the road. If you get at far as the Tesco Express garage you’ve gone too far!

There is ample parking on site.
